Community Members Without Adequate Shelter
We have been serving the personal care needs of underserved Angelinos for a decade. The compassion team has had the privilege of serving thousands of individuals bringing hope and dignity to guests daily lives.
Showers
Each week Compassion Connection offers shower time slots for booking to guests with out access to adequate personal care resources. Every month we provide hundreds of showers. We work to provide a spa like relaxing experience tailored to rejuvenate and provide the utmost in human dignity. As guests arrive they are greeted with a smile at check in. When its time to get in the shower a concierge will provide each guest with a cloth towel, wash cloth, and soap. We also maintain a supply of toiletry products available for guests as well as a clothing closet of donated items.
Community Partnerships and Referrals
Our team works hard to make sure that those in need get connected to the resources that they need. In addition to the resources available at our facility we maintain community partnerships and a list of available area resources to connect our clients with the services they need.
How You Can Help
The work that we do is supported completely by donations from people like you. If you would like to assist the work that we do there are two ways to be involved.
The first is to make a monetary donation to help us cover operational costs.
The second way to be involved is to donate physical items. We accept new and gently used shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, accessories, blankets, sleeping bags, camping equipment, and towels. We also accept new socks, underwear, travel tooth brush kits (with a brush and tooth paste), bar soap, body wash/shampoo, female products, razors, and wash cloths.
