LA Dream Center Food Bank

ReFresh Spot - Skidrow

Located at 557 Crocker St. Los Angeles, CA 90013 

The ReFresh Spot is a community-driven project that provides the skidrow community access to restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities with supportive services, such as linkage to other service providers in the area and phone charging. The ReFresh Spot includes a 24/7 safe passage program which is designated to create added safety for guest and visitors near and around the skidrow area.

Lava Mae Mobile Showers - Los Angeles

  

Founded by Doniece Sandoval in 2013, Lava Mae began by converting public transportation buses into showers + toilets on wheels to deliver hygiene and rekindle dignity for our unhoused neighbors in San Francisco.

Since then, they have dramatically expand access to essential services for people living on the streets in SF, East Bay, & LA.

The Shower of Hope

The Center offers Community Wellness Programs including mindful meditation & Yoga

They also host QueensCare Nurse Tue 8pm - 12pm

Safe Parking LA

Founded in 2016, Safe Parking LA is a coordinating organization for the community which assists homeless families and individuals living in their vehicles. We support the implementation of "Safe Parking Lots", which provide individuals a safe place to park each night, restroom access, a security guard, and social service resources.

Destination Hope

 Destination Hope is a program in partnership with City DIstrict 1 and Lahsa, that brings Safe Parking Spaces to individuals who are sleeping in their cars, operating in two locations in Westlake and Glassell Park every night.
